SIOL M8 Digital Input IO-Link Hub

The SIOL M8 IO-Link Hub is designed to connect multiple digital sensors to an IO-Link automation system through a single IO-Link communication interface. By aggregating several digital input signals into one IO-Link channel, the hub simplifies wiring and improves system scalability in distributed automation architectures.

The module provides eight digital input channels using M8 3-pin connectors, enabling easy connection of common industrial sensors such as proximity switches, limit switches, and photoelectric sensors. The signals are collected by the hub and transmitted to the IO-Link master for further processing within the control system.

Communication with the automation network is performed through an IO-Link Class A interface with an M12 A-coded connector, ensuring compatibility with standard IO-Link master modules used in industrial machines and production lines.

The device is designed for installation directly in the field. Fully potted electronics increase resistance to shock, vibration, and moisture, while nickel-plated copper connectors provide reliable electrical connections. With IP67 protection, the SIOL M8 hub is suitable for demanding industrial environments where robust field connectivity is required.

Typical applications include machine automation, distributed sensor networks, and production equipment where multiple digital sensors need to be efficiently connected to an IO-Link infrastructure.
