ELPN IO-Link Master Profinet

The ELPN IO-Link Master Profinet is designed to connect IO-Link field devices to Profinet-based industrial automation systems. Acting as a distributed field I/O module, the device enables seamless communication between sensors, actuators, and higher-level PLC control systems.

The module integrates an industrial Ethernet switch and supports 100Base-TX communication, allowing flexible network topology and simplified installation in distributed automation environments. Two M12 D-coded Ethernet connectors provide reliable fieldbus connectivity for Profinet networks.

Designed for installation directly in the field, the ELPN IO-Link master features a robust industrial housing with IP67 protection. The electronics are fully potted to improve resistance against vibration, shock, moisture, and dust, ensuring stable operation in demanding industrial environments.

By enabling standardized IO-Link communication at the sensor level, the ELPN module supports advanced device diagnostics, parameterization, and process data transmission. Typical applications include machine automation, production lines, and distributed sensor networks where reliable field-level communication with Profinet control systems is required.
