Visit to Xi’an Sensors: Strengthening Our Partnership
On August 20, 2026, I visited Xi’an Sensors Co., Ltd. in Xi’an, one of Kümago’s long-term sensor manufacturing partners.
The visit came at a particularly interesting time for our partner. Just a few weeks earlier, on July 25, Xi’an Sensors had moved into its new facility. This gave me the opportunity to see the new site, meet with the management team, review ongoing production, and discuss new opportunities for cooperation.
A Visit to the New Facility
During my visit, I met with Mr. Cui, GM of Xi’an Sensors, and had the opportunity to discuss our current cooperation as well as future development in the European market.
Xi’an Sensors specializes in the development and manufacturing of pressure sensing technologies, including pressure sensors, pressure transmitters, differential pressure transmitters and other measurement products. The company also provides customized and OEM solutions for different industrial applications.
For Kümago, this type of manufacturing capability is particularly important. Our cooperation is not limited to standard catalog products. In many projects, the technical requirements from European customers require modifications to the sensing element, mechanical structure, electrical output or calibration process.
Having a manufacturing partner capable of supporting such requirements gives us considerably more flexibility when developing solutions for specific applications.
Reviewing Production and Ongoing Orders
During the factory tour, I also reviewed several orders currently in production.
For us, visiting the factory is not simply about seeing the production line. It is an opportunity to look directly at the progress of customer projects, discuss technical details with the production and sales teams, and identify potential issues before products are shipped.
This is particularly important for customized products, where communication between the customer, Kümago and the manufacturer needs to remain close throughout the entire process.
Discussing New Projects
Another important part of the visit was a meeting with Mr. Wei, Sales Manager of Xi’an Sensors.
We discussed several potential new projects and opportunities for cooperation in the European market. Some of these projects involve applications where standard products may not be sufficient and where customized specifications, mechanical interfaces or electrical configurations are required.
This is an area where we see considerable potential for further cooperation.
For Kümago, our role is not simply to source products from China and resell them in Europe. We aim to work with our manufacturing partners to understand the customer’s application, define the technical requirements and develop a practical solution that can be delivered reliably to the European market.
Looking Ahead
A new factory represents more than a new address. For a growing manufacturing company, it also creates an opportunity to improve production capabilities, expand cooperation and prepare for new markets.
After this visit, I am even more confident about the potential for further cooperation between Xi’an Sensors and Kümago. With increasing demand for pressure measurement, differential pressure sensing and customized sensor solutions in the European market, we see many opportunities to develop new projects together.
I look forward to turning the ideas discussed during this visit into concrete projects in the months ahead.
