Overview
The MSF-F115K measures leak rate by the differential-pressure method. The part and a reference sample are pressurised together; the valve then closes and any leakage in the part shows up as a small pressure difference between the two circuits. Because both circuits sit in the same environment, ambient temperature drift acts on both of them equally and cancels out – which is why this method holds a stable reading on small leaks and on large parts.
Key features
- Resolution 0.01 Pa – resolves leaks that a 1 Pa direct-pressure instrument cannot see
- Accuracy up to FS 0.05 % over a ±500 … ±10 000 Pa span
- Independently developed high-pressure pneumatic sealing valve – the valve is usually the source of drift on cheaper benches
- Little influence from outside fluctuation, so readings stay repeatable across a shift
- Multiple communication interfaces, multiple languages, dual password protection
How the measurement works
Reference and test circuits are filled at the same time, then the pneumatic shut-off valve closes. If the part leaks, the pressure in the test circuit falls; a differential-pressure sensor measures the resulting difference between the reference and the test circuit. Since both circuits are exposed to the same ambient conditions, external influences cancel out and precision improves.
