Oil & gas · hermetic connectors & seals

Hermetic connectors and seals for wireline logging, MWD and completion tools - 1 to 101 pins, shell Ø4.5-125 mm, up to 230 MPa and 260 °C. Pick the outline that comes closest to your requirement and we will take it from there.

  1. 1Every model in this range shares the same electrical and environmental ratings. What changes is the mechanical outline.
  2. 2The outlines below are low-resolution index images - enough to recognise a shape, not to measure.
  3. 3Send us a model number or your own drawing; we reply with the official mechanical drawing, or tell you what has to change.

Outline images are index images, not controlled drawings. Do not dimension or tool from them. Official mechanical drawings with tolerances are issued on request.

These outlines cover the standard range - custom pin counts, shell sizes, threads and terminations are built to drawing. Send your old part number, your drawing or a photo of the part in service and we will cross-reference it.

Glass-to-metal seals (GTMS) create the hermetic feedthrough in a connector or a sensor housing: a conductor is bonded into a metal body through glass, so the joint insulates electrically and holds pressure without an elastomer.

The range covers single-pin seals from Ø4.5 mm and multi-pin pressure connectors up to 101 pins, rated to 230 MPa and 260 °C, and tested to a helium leak rate of 1×10⁻⁹ Pa·m³/s. Five pressure classes (A-E) are available on the same mechanical outline.

The same sealing process is used for hermetic sensor packaging – headers and feedthrough plates that carry a signal through a pressure sensor, transmitter or aerospace instrument housing while keeping it gas-tight.

Typical applications: wireline logging, MWD/LWD, completion tools, pressure transmitters, and industrial instrumentation working in vacuum, aggressive media or extreme temperatures.
