The GL-3000 is a fully sealed, submersible liquid level datalogger. A high-stability sensing element and a precision transmitter circuit sit in a single welded stainless steel housing, so the instrument can stay immersed in any medium compatible with its wetted materials.
The sensing element converts hydrostatic pressure into an electrical signal, which is linearised and temperature-compensated digitally before being logged. Readings are stored in internal memory — more than 130,000 records — and retrieved over RS485 using Modbus-RTU or ASCII. The 3.6 V lithium battery keeps the electronics in a 13 µA standby state between acquisitions, which gives long unattended run times.
Typical use is water level and liquid level monitoring in water resources, hydrology and comparable field work, where the logger stays in the well or tank and is read out periodically rather than wired to a control system.
