Hydraulic pressure cycling up to 60 MPa at up to 10 Hz, with separate high- and low-pressure outlets so two pressure levels can run in parallel.

The HT-HH is the fast hydraulic platform: up to 60 MPa, up to 10 Hz, three selectable waveforms. Separate high- and low-pressure outlets let one bench hold two pressure levels at once — the low-pressure side for a pilot or return circuit, the high-pressure side for the working line.

What it does

  • Runs high-pressure profiles at up to 10 cycles per second — about 36,000 cycles per hour.
  • Offers three waveforms, including a trapezoid with a programmable dwell at peak pressure when a square-ish exposure is what the specification calls for.
  • Feeds two pressure levels from one power unit, which keeps both sides on the same time base.
  • Can be paired with a temperature chamber when the profile has to run hot or cold as well.

Typical use

  • Pressure cycling of fuel, brake, coolant and hydraulic lines and their joints.
  • Valve bodies, sensor ports and small pressure vessels cycled at working pressure.
  • Design-limit work: raising the peak until something yields, then recording where it happened.
  • Endurance runs that have to reach six-figure cycle counts inside a working week.

How a unit is specified

Part count, cavity volume and frequency. At 10 Hz the volume displaced per second is ten times what the same fixture needs at 1 Hz, so the fixture design and the pump size have to be decided together — a large manifold that is fine at 1 Hz will cap the frequency at 3 Hz.

Standard and custom

Pump group, servo/proportional control and the two outlets are the standard platform. Fixture stations, port threads and containment are built to the part.
