HT-PG Nitrogen Booster Unit
A compact nitrogen booster that turns 3 MPa shop nitrogen into a stable supply at 690 bar, for pressure controllers and calibrators. Auxiliary unit — it supplies pressure, it does not cycle it.
The HT-PG is an auxiliary unit, not a cycling bench. It takes nitrogen at 3 MPa and delivers a stable supply at up to 690 bar for a pressure controller or calibrator — the missing link when a laboratory has the instrument but not the gas pressure behind it.
Technical data
| Outlet pressure | 280 / 400 / 690 bar (4,000 / 6,000 / 10,000 psi) |
|---|---|
| Medium | Nitrogen |
| Inlet pressure | > 3 MPa (> 30 bar) |
| Outlet flow | 80 Ln/min |
| Air drive | 6 – 8 bar at 500 Ln/min |
| Buffer | Built-in high-pressure cylinder and manual pressure-reducing valve |
| Compatibility | Can be built into pressure controllers from Druck, WIKA and Fluke |
| Dimensions | 550 × 550 × 1520 mm |
What it does
- Raises 3 MPa shop nitrogen to 280, 400 or 690 bar, driven only by compressed air — no electrical supply in the pressure section.
- Buffers the output in an internal high-pressure cylinder, so the supply stays steady while the controller draws.
- Fits inside an existing calibration setup; it does not need its own console.
- Holds the outlet at a set pressure with a manual regulator for slow, controlled filling.
Typical use
- High-pressure gas supply for dead-weight testers and pressure controllers.
- Filling and pressurising calibration circuits where a cylinder would run out mid-test.
- Any calibration room that has 3 MPa nitrogen but needs 690 bar at the point of use.
Standard and custom
The booster, buffer cylinder and regulator form a standard unit. Connections to the host controller and the outlet fitting are matched to what the controller expects.
