Diaphragm capsule is a precision sensing element designed for low-pressure and vacuum mechanical pressure gauges. It consists of two precision-formed metallic diaphragms welded together around the perimeter to form a hermetically sealed chamber. Pressure applied to the capsule produces a controlled axial displacement, which is transmitted to the gauge movement for accurate pressure indication.

The diaphragm capsule family is available in several material options, including QSn6.5-0.1 phosphor bronze, C17200 beryllium copper and 316L stainless steel, allowing engineers to select the most suitable material according to pressure range, corrosion resistance, and application requirements. Standard diameters from 38 mm to 114 mm support a wide variety of gauge designs.

Manufactured with high dimensional accuracy and consistent elastic characteristics, the diaphragm capsules provide excellent sensitivity, repeatability, and long-term stability. They are widely used by OEM manufacturers of pressure gauges, vacuum gauges, differential pressure gauges, and other mechanical measuring instruments requiring reliable diaphragm sensing technology.
